The healing sap of the indigenous Cape Aloe succulent (Aloe ferox) has been harvested by the Khoisan people of Southern Africa for centuries. This long-standing tradition is continued today through the sustainable harvesting of Aloe ferox leaves from privately-owned aloe plantations in the Albertinia district in South Africa.
The nutrient-rich green peel, the inner fillet as well as the bitter sap are used to produce this product. Aloe ferox leaves contain more than 130 nutritional and medicinal elements including essential organic minerals, trace minerals, anthraquinones and 34 amino acids. Seven of these amino acids are essential amino acids and cannot be produced or synthesised by the body.
Fabulous Fibre Bitter Tablets contain dried bitter sap and dried, powdered whole aloe leaf. Fibre rich Aloe ferox leaves contain a vast amount of nutrients and medicinal properties that support the general well-being of the body.

Dosage
Laxative Use
- Take ½-3 Fabulous Fibre Bitter Tablets in the evening in a single dose with at least a full glass of water. Use the smallest dose necessary, and start with a low dose, as too high a dose may cause cramps and diarrhoea.
Detoxification
- Take ½ Fabulous Fibre Bitter Tablets daily with meals
Advice
Do not use Aloe ferox bitters in cases of intestinal obstruction, acute inflamed intestinal disease (e.g. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colon inflammation), appendicitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Aloe ferox bitters is traditionally used for the beneficial effect it has on constipation, eczema, discomfort from arthritis and high blood pressure.
It is clinically proven that the use of anthranoid laxatives (such as Aloe ferox bitters), even in the long term, do not cause cancer (ref. Department of Medicine, Univ of Erlangen, Germany; Journal: Gut; May 2000; vol 46(5): p 651-5)
